Okay Guys, a la flow has been open for a while now and everyone seems to be getting along just fine. Now is the time to let you in on a little secret.
a la flow was constructed for many reasons, one of those reasons was to stimulate donations to 'poverty elimination' charities. I have spent some time looking into ways to donate to poor nations that can make a difference. Some charities use their donations to stimulate the local economy. You may have heard of the micro loans concept where a family is given a loan to purchase equipment that can help them create their own business. They are given advice and helped initially. Once the business becomes self-sustaining then loan is repaid and the person is now self-sufficient. Taking a look at the bigger picture, growing new businesses grows the entire local community.
After hearing of such ideas and discussing the operations with a volunteer from a charity I decided that if I could save one family from certain poverty with an insignificant annual sum of money then there was no question, it should be done.
Thinking ahead of myself I decided that if I could get a community of people to donate, then a community of people will can bring about much more positive change then I could alone.
How this is all going to work will become apparent soon but just to let you know, there will be premium membership where 60% of membership fees go directly to poorer people in third world countries. Unlike some other forms of donation, every cent that goes to the chosen charities makes it to the people who need, not getting gobbled up in administration and wages.

Thats... quite a goal. Good luck and here is me wishing you pull it off.
achievable?
I agree with MissMessy, thats a huge goal for what there currently is. Don't you think something more sensible would work better.
I mean, I am all for what you are doing but do you think you effory could be better spent on a more achievable goal?
just do it
Indeed, it is a grand goal, and what worthless goal would be worth achieving?
I believe that if you set yourself up to do big things then you can, if you limit yourself to only what is "reasonable" then how highly can you achieve compared with everyone else?
Now, I know this is not just going to happen over night. It will probably take 5 years before there is any gravity behind the idea.
Look at any project and you will see that it was built gradually over time.
So, I am going to do this, and do this I will.
