| My work printer is forever breaking down, smearing ink, and tearing pages from every print I do. Are there no printers that can stand up to about 100 pages per day without trouble. |
I have a cannon printer at work. Its actually just a home office printer so my load of about 100 pages per day is bringing it down to the state where it breakes down all the time and when it isn't broken it ruins the printouts with ink smears or tearing the paper.
Are there any printers out there that can stand up to this small task.
I use HP LaserJets here at my work pretty much exclusively.
They are tanks. 1000 pages per day, no problem. Hardly ever find fault with them. I am sure you pay for it but they are top notch.
We did have one with a toner problem once that escalated to a roller problem. The printer ended up literally shredding paper that went through it into confetti on the other side.
Other than that malfunction its all been smooth sailing for years.
Let me guess, inkjet, bubblejet?
Canon has some real quality business printers that could easily take care of your needs as would most printer manufacturers I imagine.
Just go for something a bit more business a bit less 'homework' style.
I use a huge canon for my printing which would be overkil in your situation but there would be something out there for you.
yeah yeah, I'm just cheap is all.
*sigh* on to find a real printer
