I saw this movie on the plane. It did not get bit advertising in Australia, in fact, I didn't even know it was out in cinemas.
Well, it is a fantastic movie. Disregard any trailers you may have seen. Just watch it and treat it as if you don't know anything about it.
This film won a Heartland's Truly Moving Picture award which it very much deserves.
If you are after a fantasy childhood movie fueled by wild imaginations this Bridge to Terabithia is for you.
I would like to hear what anyone else that has seen the movie though.
The book is a modern classic
I have read the book many times and would say that it should be counted as a modern day childrens classic.
Its hard to find such a well written book that is warm and safe while covering the issues the characters had at school and later on.
I have read so many drug, alchol, and violence related books for younger readers that fail to be as loving and warm as bridge to terabithia, which is not about any of those topics if you were wondering.
Haven't seen the movie yet but I now will add it to me must see list
